The first thing I want any reader of this review to know is that TJ is absolutely AMAZING! With that said I will explain why my husband and I feel so strongly about TJ and the work he did for us. For starters, TJ is not a salesman, he is 100% an artist in the truest sense of the word. From the second we walked in to his office to meet him for the first time until the day of the wedding there was never a sales pitch. He never tried to up sell us or change the package. He basically interviewed us. He asked us questions about ourselves and our guests. He wanted to get to know us the best he could. TJ is an artiest turned wedding photographer. He has a strong passion for the work he does and you can tell he loves doing it very much. I emphasize this point because the last thing you want when looking for vendors to cover your wedding is long and hard sales pitches. We are under enough pressure getting married, we certainly don't need added pressure from a photographer trying to sell us every thing under the sun. That is why we felt that TJ was a perfect match for us. He listened to everything we had to say and took every single request seriously and professionally. If it was important to us it was more important to him. That is one of his strong points. He makes everything his priority. A few days before our wedding we got an unexpected email from TJ. He was basically touching base with us and wanted to make sure we were doing okay and wanted to find out if there was anything that we needed him to know now that the wedding was near. The day of the wedding TJ arrived at our home EARLY and right away got to work. In fact, I was held up at the salon and TJ made the best of his extra time at the house shooting photos of everything from my kids to my dogs to the dress and shoes. He didn't need any direction at all. He did everything on his own. Once we left the house TJ got to the hall before us and setup his equipment before we even got there. From that point everything with regards to photography went as smooth as can be. He was such a gentleman and extremely courteous and unobtrusive. He made our wedding the wedding I always dreamed of,not only by taking the most amazing photos that we will cherish forever but he actually united us with our guests and made everyone feel so comfortable and relaxed. I personally was a nervous reck before the ceremony and TJ was so calming that it literally made me smile and brought out the best in me and my husband. My husband and I loved our wedding. We loved the entire event but most of all we loved the work that TJ did for us. He is someone we will never forget. He made the most special day of my life just a bit more special and certainly memorable. We would recommend TJ to anyone looking for the best of the best!

After looking through countless photographers’ portfolios, my husband and I were drawn to TJ's artistic photos and his ability to creatively use light. We first met TJ at our engagement shoot. What we really liked about TJ was his ability to use his surroundings to capture the moment... I don't know many people who are willing to stand in the middle of NYC streets to take photos! The session was comfortable and TJ was really friendly. When we got our photos back, we could not wait to see what he was going to do for our wedding. The day of our wedding was one of the hottest days of the summer (heat wave weekend in July), but that did not stop TJ from capturing the moments of the day. He kept us in the shade when he could and came up with a brilliant idea to kick our shoes off and soak in a fountain for a few minutes! Besides the getting ready shots and after ceremony photos, TJ was inconspicuous. We knew he was there, but he wasn't in our face the entire day and he never pulled us away from our event. TJ did an amazing job capturing our special day as well as editing the photos (we are still deciding what photos we want for our album). If you’re looking for an artistic approach and crave that “something different”, then we recommend TJ 100%! We wish TJ the best of luck in his new adventures with Angel Project! Thank you TJ!

TJ recently shot my wedding. From the moment we booked with him it has been a pleasure. He is professional, courteous and of course, in our budget. He was very creative and exceeded our expectations greatly. TJ is the type of photographer that really enjoys what he does, and he lets it show. Amazing, amazing pictures! We will definatly be recommending him to family and friends. (We will be using him for our first baby photo shoot!!)

I can't fully express how wonderful our experience was with Tj. He is a consummate professional, who always thinks on his feet and finds the perfect shot. On the big day you have to get pictures with a ton of family and friends and of course the bridal party. Tj was able to adapt to any circumstance and get all the pictures that we wanted done with plenty of time. When the environment would get tense, Tj would crack a joke or loosen up the subjects in the shot. You don’t realize how important that characteristic is until you’re in the moment, in the white dress and people around you aren’t “behaving.” My husband (though I love him dearly) isn’t photogenic, so I was so stressed about having great wedding pictures. TJ totally delivered. We just received the final proofs and we’re totally blown away. The shots are artistic and totally nonconventional- which is exactly what we wanted. He was the best vendor we worked with and I’ve recommended him to all of my friends who are engaged.

I am very picky and am a perfectionist. With that said, TJ and his team were beyond amazing. He was professional and had a great personality. He made me and my wedding party feel completely comfortable. We all felt like celebrities. I was so happy when we received the proofs. They are the best pictures I've ever been in. We all look great. I've never received so many compliments in my life. The artistry that TJ has goes beyond a regular wedding photographer. If you want photos that capture all the moments of your wedding and really tell your story, you must book TJ. There is no other choice. -Alison

TJ was outstanding photographer for our wedding in February. He takes great shots, was diligent, and ensured that our wedding "checklist" was completed. We absolutely love his style of photography and would recommend him to any couple that is looking for a photographer. In addition, for the services performed, the price was extremely reasonable.

TJ was an incredible photographer to work with. His passion and appreciation for his work shined through and made working with him a pleasure. TJ was great!!!...he knew exactly where to place you for the best shots. He was never pushy and you never felt like you were being taken away from your wedding. He was fast with all of his shots and blended into the crowd. My husband and I couldn't have more happy with the way the photos came out. There was a fair amount of colored photos, as well as, black and white. They were all artistic whether they were candid or journalistic.

When it came to selecting a wedding photographer, there was no question that we would use Duet. Once my (now) husband and I saw TJ's portfolio, we knew immediately that he had to be the one to take our wedding photos. We didn't have a videographer, so having amazing pictures was of the utmost importance to us. From the moment we met TJ at our engagement photo session, I was so happy to learn that TJ is patient, creative, honest, and simply a pleasure to be with -- someone I wanted to be next to on our wedding day. Our wedding day was no different. He made us feel comfortable and confident that our photos would be spectacular. When we got our proofs, I was beyond delighted. TJ's editing and "out of the box" style delivered us the most sensational wedding photos I've seen (and no, I'm not biased! well, maybe a little...) To this day, almost 2 years later, friends and family comment on our wedding photos and ask us who our photographer was. It is not surprising at all that TJ's work has taken him to a new level in his career as he has starts a journey as owner of Angel Project. I periodically check his photo feed and am continually surprised at how he makes each wedding feel personal and unique, as each married couple is. I wish I could get married over and over to have an excuse to work with him again!
