I honestly could write a book about how horrible of an experience I had at this bridal shop. First, I ordered a dress and a sash- doesn't sound very hard?? Well, it took them three visits to get the correct sash, I ordered ivory, not pink!! I asked for a sweetheart neckline, that took a few visits. There was a stain on the dress. At the end of it, I was treated like I was a 'difficult' customer and went home very upset, only to find that they did not sew in the hook and eye to close the dress. My mother had to do it. In the end, I would recommend my mother hem and sew your dress before you ever set foot in their store. I promise you it will be a horrible experience and I wouldn't wish it on any other bride. There are many more stores in the area.

I purchased my wedding dress from them and had a good experience. I did go to 3 other places before them and felt annoyed by the sales people. Overall they listened to what I wanted and weren't overly pushy. I would recommend them.

The staff at the Bridal Suite of Bay Shore were all very friendly. My dress did not need any alterations but my bridesmaids and Maid of Honor needed there dresses to be altered and I think they did a pretty good job on them.

I went to Bay Shore bridal as a referral from a friend. i can't say that I had the best experience. Firstly, I WILL say, they were very polite but In all honesty, everything was more of a headache. I didn't even purchase my wedding dress there, it was just my bridesmaids dresses. I saw the dress i wanted there but I found it at another bridal salon for almost $1000 cheaper. But I live near so I ordered the BM dresses there. The frustrating thing was every time we spoke to them they told us something different and because of that, every other week i would get a phone call from an upset BM because i told them one thing and Bayshore Bridal told them something else this week. It was quite frustrating. And then it would make me out to look like an unflexible monster to my bridesmaids when i call Bayshore bridal and ask what we can do about something...relay the message to my BM and the BM calls them and pushes a little and they switch up. They told us the dresses should be shipped to the out of towners for their own alterations and never gave me the option of letting the girls come in the day before the wedding and pick up the day of the wedding until AFTER a couple of dresses were shipped. So then i had BM's upset that they paid shipping after finding out 2 others were coming the day of. It was just a big headache that i didn't need. The actual store is nice and they are attentive when you enter the premises. If i had it to do again, i wouldn't go there and I wouldn't refer them to anyone.

they get a ZERO. fine to buy a dress there if you find it cheaper than anywhere else BUT DO NOT GET ALTERATIONS DONE THERE. it is a nightmare. for a MOH dress ive had to go for FOUR fittings because they havent done the necessary alterations or have messed up the ones they did do.they blame everything on the garment / fabric and not their own seamstresses work. i have met and dealt with THREE different seamstresses at the fittings and each spun me a different story. the seams from taking the dress out were puckered and obviously not sewn back together properly. they left me with an uneven hem. told me it needed to be taken out 3in and at the next fitting told me it needed to be taken in 3 in! very sloppy work! the bust was sitting about 2 inches from my body and they told me the only solution was double sided tape! i insisted i paid them the$75 cap for alterations plus 220 for the dress i wasnt walking out without the dress being altered to my body the right way! picking up the dress tmw hoping there is some progess the wedding is 2 days away! save yourself the hassle DONT GO HERE!

I know bridal stores get mixed reviews, but here is a great story. I wanted a second gown...I found a picture online, even called the Manufacturer. NOBODY in the EASTERN USA had a sample dress, nor would get one for me. This store was the ONLY store that got me a sample dress to try on (yes, you have to leave a non-refundable deposit)...They were more helpful than the manufacturer!!!

Basically I freaked out one day last spring because I did not have a dress ordered yet. I had not even started looking. I went to the Bridal Suite of Bay Shore by myself. I brought about 10 pics of some Maggie Sottero dresses. Marianne helped me. She was AMAZING! She brought the dresses that she had from my pics and also some more that she thought I would like. There was one that she brought that I was like "ugh...I saw that one online I don't really like it". That is the one that I LOVED on. Then she showed me the veil that went with it and we found a comb that matched. It took me about 45 min to pic out my dress. While there I found a maid of honor dress I liked in the color (burnt orange) I wanted it and the bridesmaid style and a different dress in the color I wanted (Wine). I was able to decide on the color of my dress from that, and went with ivory. The next day one of the MOHs (I had 3) came with me and one of the BMs (I had 4). They loved the dresses that I picked out and we ordered them. It literally took me less than an hour to pic out my dress and the MOH and BM dresses. It was a very great experience!!

Looking for your wedding dress could be the most stressful part about getting married. I went to tons of shops before I went to The Bridal Suite. My mom and I both picked up the same dress in different parts of the store with out even knowing it. When I slipped into the dress I began to cry because I knew it was the one! Andrea was the most helpful and kind person we worked with there. She answered all my questions calmly and without doubt. I got my girls dresses and my mothers dress there too! My mother was somewhat of a challenging customer and the owner was very helpful in putting her mind at ease. I love my dress sooooo much, I just wish I could take it out of the box and put it on again and again and again!!!!

The Bridal Suite of Bayshore did an outstanding job with my dress. We went to Bridal Reflections first in Massapequa, and the saleswoman helping us was uptight and snippy, not letting us look at any of the dresses and insisting that she be the only one picking out dresses for us. Because I did not want a strapless dress, the saleswoman said that since "that wasn't in style at the moment" (which all my bridal magazines beg to differ-- off the shoulder straps are everywhere), they only had a few styles. Frustrated, we left and went to Bridal Suite of Bayshore, which just came up in an iphone search. The mood here was night and day. My bridesmaids and my mom were allowed to look through the dresses, pick them out and the saleswoman helped me try them on! They were so laid back that it let us relax and have fun... it's supposed to be fun! We found my dress that day, and it was beautiful. All the alterations came out great, and the dress was so beautiful and intricate, and MUCH more reasonable than ANYTHING that looked cheap in Bridal Reflections. We recommended this place to my cousin, who is getting married in a few months, and she found her dress there too. :)The dress was $1000, and the slip, veil, bra, alterations, and hairpiece came to approx. another $800.
