Bridal Suite of Centereach

The ladies here were fantastic - i walked in, tried on two dresses and walked out the happiest bride ever! Came back for an alteration and they nailed it on the first try - my second dress fitting was more for me to prance around in the dress then for them to fix anything because they did a fantastic job!

I bought my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses from Bridal Suite of Centereach and had a horrible experience. Before ordering my bridesmaid dresses I requested that they order me a swatch because I wanted to make sure it was the right color. The swatch came and it was eggplant which I wanted so my bridesmaids ordered their dresses. The dresses come in and they are "purple" not eggplant", now I know this may not sound like a big deal, but I based all my wedding colors on these dresses being eggplant. When I question what happened, they said they'd have to contact the vendor and get back to me. They never even called me back, so a few days later I called and they told me that the vendor had sent an old swatch and they do not make the "eggplant color" anymore, this is their new eggplant which is was purple. So I asked what could we do and they said we can't do anything. I said it wasn't acceptable can we order new dresses, no we couldn't, we were stuck with them. So finally the manager Kathy who is very unprofessional says we'll work with you on your alterations. So now onto my dress, my wedding dress comes in and I ended up having to go for an extra fitting because they just weren't alerting it how I wanted it. So I go to pay the final payment and they took $75 off my $500 alterations, since they wouldn't work with me my father called and they were extremely rude to him and wouldn't return his calls. Lastly I take my wedding dress home and hang it up and I see that they didn't finish sewing one of the seams, so the morning of my wedding my mother has to sew my dress. Are you kidding me? Bottom line is the staff is rude here, the shop is old and they are overpriced for the services they provide. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Spend a little extra money and go to Bridal Reflections or Macys Bridal.

Mary is a very helpful and knowledgeable bridal consultant. The seamstress Effie is fabulous and she worked very fast to make sure I looked my best on my wedding day.

Everyone there was really nice. The dress was still expensive but I was able to customize it!

The selection of dresses at this bridal suite is great. Laura at Centereach Bridal helped pick my dress, and she knew exactly what would look stunning on me. She was wonderful! The seamstress was also top notch. There was another seamstress, however, that worked on my mother's dress and the rest of the bridal party. She was not so great. In fact, she was rude to the bridesmaids, and very inappropriate with my 14-year-old niece. Steer clear of this lady!

They were helpful, Though i am not really a high maintance bride, they did a good job. let me do my thing and didnt really get in the way of my ideas.

Love, love, love them. Barbara is awesome. From the day I walked in there looking for a dress to the visits for fittings and the day of pick up. They were wonderful and I will highly recommend them.

the shop was great, they were willing to order any dress for me for $100. If I liked the dress the money would go towards it, if I decided not to keep it then they would as a sample and I would have a $100 credit at their store! very flexible with times. Seamstresses were very nice and professional but they weren't the best I've seen. I had a very difficult dress but they seemed to have more trouble with it than a professional should have

I have bought two dresses from this salon and both times have been more than happy. They have always been honest and helpful. My only complaint is that when your dress arrives they send you a letter in the mail. I would prefer to be called or emailed. It just seems like that part of their business is a bit antiquated. Other than that, they have the best prices in LI for gowns and will work with you on price and order anything you'd like.

Bridal Suite of Centereach was very helpful when I was dress shopping, I had a lot of people with me all going in different directions looking at different things and they were very patient and helped everyone. They got my dress in very quick and did amazing alterations so that the dress fit perfectly, they even did my last fitting a few days before the wedding!! The staff was wonderful and so nice every encounter I had with them.

The Bridal Suite was good. They helped me pick the perfect dress - even though I tried a million of them on in one night. They did a great job on the bustle and for the most part were right on schedule.

My dress turned out beautifully, however my bridesmaids had some problems. One of them had the wrong dress size ordered and one could not get them to hem it the correct length. My dress was beautiful and they had no problems tailoring it for my needs. They even showed my mom how to do the Victorian bussel so the bead work showed up after the train was up.
