Dj Kucha Company

I can't say enough how great our experience was with Kucha! We just got married last weekend (9/17/11) at Steiner Studios at the BK Navy Yard. We had a 430 person Indian/White mixed wedding and Kucha absolutely crushed it! The dance floor was packed the entire night. He played a perfect blend of American and Hindi hits. He alsio got us our Dhol player (who was also excellent) for our Barratt. It was an absolute success and in no small part due to Kucha. He met with us multiple times, played everything we wanted to hear and made it a night to remember forever. He even taught my white friends and family how to dance around the horse!!! Totally awesome! Highly suggested. JR

I Used Celebrations NYC ( One of DJ Kucha Companies) to provide me with Lighting, Sound and Lounge Furniture Rental. He was so gracious to send me not only what i ordered but extra lounge and lighting made my once a year party look amazing. celebrating my daughter's wedding anniversary party. Then at 10 pm he showed up and surprised my guests and took over the dj booth ( we had a jewish Dj ), I just want to say even my DJ that i had hired was like who is this guy, all my guests danced until the cops shut us down. We just made a best friend for life. I would like to say he is an amazing person and a great DJ. Thank you to our favorite DJ Kucha Mazel tov...

Amazing DJ and a Fabulous MC. He was very Sweet and kind to our needs before we signed the contract and even after, gave us the time we needed since my husband and i are both professional who work long hours. We had never seen him perform, our friends told us about him. When we met him we both had a huge smile on our face on the way home. I don't think he does this for just the money, he got more excited about our even then we both were. Long story short, Amazing Amazing Amazing. I would recommend him to everyone one of my friends. Its also a surprise factor with this guy, No one would expect him (he wears a turban (Indian) and we are both we are both Caucasian) to be a multi talented and amazing DJ, My guests were taking Pictures with him like he is a Superstar or something. I want to thank Dj Kucha and his Team for making our wedding a wonderful Success.

Wow, let me start of by saying that Dj Kucha (personally) does not drink at all (Liqour). HE Djed my Wedding just 3 weeks ago and was very attentive to every detail of the wedding, music, reception, introductions, etc. He made site visits many times just to make sure we were not lost, since this was a mixed wedding ( my husband is jewish and i am indian). I do know Dj Kucha for the last 7 months before my wedding, he is a genuine person, his office has pictures of his wife and kid. He is not what this past review made him seem like. The reason i am writing this review is because whoever wrote this needs to show themselves, what triggers this is because i know for a fact he does not drink, So i doubt he was getting drunk and flaunting his extra marital affairs. HE not not such type. As for my wedding, his services were expensive ( in the beginning i questioned why he was so pricy) but when you actually see him give attention to his client, like myself, its every penny's worth. He is an amazing DJ and MC. I had DJ Mandeep, who is an associate with DJ Kucha Company, for my sangeet night ( Henna Night). He did a Fabulous job, Pricing wise worked out because if i booked kucha for the wedding & Reception, 2nd night is half off. Dj Kucha is Amazing. P.S. I did call kucha up about this reviews and he denied anything of doing. with the $500 party he said they inquired but never signed a contract. and called him 1/2 before the function, which kucha didn't know it was even suppose to happen. I don't want to get into his personal life but i think this is absurd to throw this kind of comments about him. leave people personal life alone.. talk about professionalism.

AVOID HIM! As others have commented, I had a signed contract with him that said he would "personally provide DJ services". He didn't show up and sent some kid who was TERRIBLE. We found him on facebook in pictures showing that he was working at another event on the day of my wedding. To make things even worse, all I got was an email from Kucha saying "Sorry ... My wife left me took the kid ... I am trying to find my son...". We found out that was a lie too. Put a huge damper on my wedding.

DJ Kucha did an amazing job!! The dance floor was packed the entire night and the party was a blast. I had DJ Kucha Company for my engagement party, mehendi and wedding. The lights, the music, everything was perfect!

DJ Kucha is AWESOME!!! His music and lighting are amazing. The money we paid for him was worth every penny.

The dance floor was packed the entire reception. Music was great and danceable and there was a decent variety. I have no complaints.

Awesome DJ - Kucha could work on getting back to his clients a bit better but he totally made up for it at the wedding!! Everyone had a blast and he runs a bit pricey but he was worth every copper penny!

AWESOME DJ Company. They did one of my pre-wedding events, my wedding, and reception. Alll the guests complimented our DJ and everyone really enjoyed themselves. I highly recommend them!

Well lets start by saying that DJ Kucha has played at many of my cousins wedding and at other parties and that was the reason we picked him over other more professional and less pricey DJ's. We signed him 10 months before and we met him on several ocassions going over the iteniary and song selection. First let me mention you have to call him several times before he decides to respond to you. Well 2 days before our wedding I met him and went over the list one final time. Since we were having 2 receptions (One Christian and one Indian), we had hired him for both days. So lets start with the disaster...on both nights Mr. Satbir Kucha, who was the designated DJ for both nights as per our contract decides that he is not going to show up, instead on the first night he sends a MC who had no idea about playing or even setting up. We start our grand entrance 30 minutes later....meanwhile Mr. Kucha did not respond to 100 phonecalls I made to him...later I found out he was in Aruba attending to another event and decided that our wedding was not worth his time anymore. So on the first day...after a disaster start...we had to finally dance to a song we had no clue about, so that was our first dance...the DJ failed to play any music we asked for and then 2 hour later another DJ who was covering Kucha showed up and played till end...atleast this DJ had some sense of how to mix. The next day for our Indian reception...again Mr. S Kucha was no show and sent another DJ....who was better than 1st night...however we clearly paid for Kucha to play....I made several calls to Kucha which he did not return....So if you want to have a disaster on your wedding then by all means hire Kucha. If you don't believe me email Better Business of Bureau in Nassau and see the complaint. This man is so arrogant that he thinks he is the best DJ out there...but apparently his professionalism and people skills are worse than a Hooligan...
