We used Elegancia Entertainment for our Photobooth and they were amazing!! We wanted something different for our wedding and Elangcia provided it!! People are still talking about what an amazing time they had and how much fun the photobooth was! All age groups loved the booth and the CD we received with all the pictures made an amazing keepsake!! Thank you!!

JOSE AND HIS STAFF SOLD ME FROM THE INITIAL MEETING. THEY GIVE YOU A VISUAL OF WHAT YOUR EVENT COULD LOOK LIKE AND THAT WAS IT FOR US. FROM THEIR EXPERIENCE, OBVIOUSLY, THEY CAN LOOK AT YOUR CROWD AND MAKE AN EDUCATED DECISION ON WHAT MUSIC WILL KEEP YOUR PARTY GOING. I SAY THAT BECAUSE WE GAVE JOSE A LIST OF MUSIC AND HE DID HIS THING WITH THAT LIST AND 'ADLIBBING' IT. OH MY GOODNESS WE ENJOYED OURSELVES ON THAT DANCE FLOOR AND THE INTERIM MUSIC WAS SO APPROPRIATE IT WAS UNBELIEVABLE. I COULDN'T HAVE CHOSEN A BETTER DJ AND MC FOR OUR EVENT.

Our Lovely Wedding was held this past August 27,2011 @ Jericho Terrace and Elegancia Entertainment was the chosen vendor for MC and DJ and all I can say is that They are without a Doubt Highly Recommended!!. They Provided the Music for the Ceremony,the Cocktail Hour and the Reception.About a month ago before our wedding my Fiancee and I started meeting with different vendors to find out which one was the most suitable for our wedding and the most that we felt more comfortable with. Let me tell you that from the moment we met with with Elegancia Entertainment we knew that they were the chosen vendor for our lovely wedding. We first placed a call to Elegancia and we spoke to Luis over the phone to make an appointment and a week later we met with Jose the owner of Elegancia and from the moment we went into his office he made us feel like family. He listened very carefully to us as we explained to him more or less how we wanted our complete Wedding to go from the Ceremony to the Cocktail Hour and finally to the Reception. After listening to us he made a few suggestions based on his many years of experienced to which we gladly accepted because we realized that he was right.On the day of our wedding let me just say that the whole wedding was a remarkable success and he played everything that we had requested and them some. In fact they are so good that my 15 year old daughter(to whom we are doing her sweet 16th next year) came to our table and said to me, "daddy I want them to do my sweet 16th" . All of our family and friends are still talking about how great the music and specially Jose who was the MC was. There was not one person that did not hit the dance. Everybody was Dancing and Having a Great Time!! For Our Wedding we chose the "Photocast Spectacular Package" which provided a Computerized Light Show for the Grand Entrance and Dancing. They have other packages to choose from but we flt that this was the perfect one for our wedding and the best one!All I can say is that if we are writing this long review is because Elegancia Definitely Deserves it. I can't wait to use them again next year at My Daughter's Sweet 16th.Jose, Luis and Elegancia Staff we thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for doing an outstanding job in our wedding!!Best Regards, from Carlos and Yolanda Reyes

We chose Elegancia as our vendor based off of recommendations from friends even though they were our most expensive vendor. While everything went well in planning the event with Eleganicia, on the day of our wedding they showed up 1.5 hours late without calling myself, my wife, or the banquet hall. We attempted several times to call the office and they did not have any emergency information availible and no one to answer the phone. When they did arrive it was too late to play music for the contracted cocktail hour and they were not very apologetic about being late, citing traffic as the issue. After our event I reached out to get a partial refund however, I have not heard back from them. Accidents happen, people get stuck in traffic but it was the lack of a phone call and lack of compensation that was extremely dissapointing.

Elegancia is the BEST! They really set the tone for our reception - the lighting, music and percussionist band was the perfect combination! Our guests never left the dance floor! They were also such a pleasure to work with - I highly recommend!

I used them for my wedding in early October. I would recommend them only if you are one of those brides that monitor every detail possible. I was very lax and did not provide them with a "Suggested/Must Play" list until 3 or 4 days before the wedding and it seemed like the DJ played whatever he wanted to play, my list completely forgotten. However, they did provide the best uplighting I've ever seen and the pronounced all the names of me, the groom, and bridal party/parents correctly. Also, they were very professional. My only complaint was that I requested there be a 50/50 split between Spanish/Ethnic music and American Pop/Dance/Contemporary and at the wedding, about 80% of the music they played was spanish and some of my guests didn't even hit the dance floor until after the 1st entree was served. Also, people didn't even start dancing until almost 6 songs after our First Dance and Parent Dances..overall I thought the flow of the music could've been better. I also requested the DJ play more Reggae/Hip Hop and the next thing I heard was "Rock around Sue" and the "Twist"..Although that was fine music, it wasn't exactly hip hop???

They totally met our needs for multicultural music. The ceremony music was calm and classical, and the reception music was a mix of everything. I asked Luis to keep my guest happy, and that they did. My mother barely left the dance floor. The seniors danced just as much as the juniors. Luis was our MC, and he really knew how to read the crowd. People were talking about the conga and the sax player for weeks after our wedding. You name the type of music, and they have it. Vast selection, and they play it all. Loved them, would book Elegancia again and again.

To start, great service by everyone. Everyone was so friendly. It made my nervous day a lot easier with your services. Thank you very much. It would be a pleasure to refer you to a friend of mine! I love this music!

They were fantastic! As our food wasn't that great, and the venue not that accomodating... ELEGANCIA saved our wedding! The dancefloor was packed from beginning to end! We had a phenomenal time and many of our guests stated it was the best wedding ever based on the party that commenced! They go above and beyond what is expected. I wanted a specific song from a movie that was a bit obscure played for our parents' entrance and they found it.1) They are proffessional and on time. They even came to the reception to take pics for the big screen2) They work with you to get the best music possible3) They pay attention to the crowd and adjust as needed4) They are worth the money

This company was ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They were nice since the day I emailed Jose. They got back to me and always returned my calls. When we came in to me with them, they were friendly, professional and beyond knowledgeable. They were well worth the money and everyone is still talking about how fun, versatile yet professional they were at my wedding (November 2008). I never had anything to worry about the day of my wedding because Jose kept me on top of everything in a calm and professional manor. They managed to work very well with the a different band that was given to me for my wedding. The music was so good everyone danced until the party was over...mind you it was a Sunday night! I had a mixture of PR, DR, Colombian, Greek and Ecuadorian guest that ALL danced and had a great time. They will always be first on my recommendation list!!!!!

Elegancia was great. They played all of the music we asked for and some. They were very professional and our guests till this day still speak about the music we had at pour wedding. I would recommend Elegancia to everyone and anyone. We have even booked Elegancia to do Music for our Holiday Party at our job. You will not be disappointed.

DJ: I believe his name was DaveMC: Jose (Owner)Percussionist for Reception: PeteOkay, let me just say that to everyone there are things that are just soooo important on their wedding day...for some ladies it might be $10K in flowers or a big name photographer with multiple cameras and assistants....for us it was the DJ. DH and I are both hispanic and for anyone who knows our people, music is a BIG part of our lives. I grew up listening to the sounds of Tito Puente, Celia Cruz, Hector Lavoe, Juan Gabriel, etc. and spanish music is basically the beat of our souls. We knew when we began the wedding planning process that music would be very difficult for us to find, because living in Long Island...most DJ companies are owned by caucasians and they might have like one or two bi-lingual MC's, but that's it. Not to put down my people, but many 'spanish' DJs is some friend's, brother's, mother's, first cousin Juan who only does business by a pager and doesn't have an actual business address! (You know how we do!) Therefore, finding a DJ was not an easy task. We tried to give some of the big names on Long Island a try, but no one really seemed like they would be able to know all the music we wanted. Eventually I found out about Elegancia Entertainment through some magazines as well as through word of mouth. After setting up an appointment, I had my husband go and he wound up spending nearly 3 hours at the appointment just talking with the Jose (the owner) and Luis. He came back and said that had he brought the check book with him, he would've booked right then and there. A week later we both went back, and this time we only spent two hours there! Jose was soooo professional and I could tell that he was the type of DJ/MC who isn't all about hearing himself speak, he is about the music. When searching for a company, I went to showcases and found most DJs to be incredibly annoying with their need to talk a lot into the microphones and such. That was one of the first things that Jose told us, would NOT happen. He admitted that he also hated that, and likes to let the music take over. During the meeting we saw a DVD of their work at another wedding, and that is where we saw the percussionist used. We loved the sound of it, and added it to the package so that he would play the bongos or timbales along with the music that the DJ was playing. I had many people tell us on the wedding day that the sound of the percussionist with the music almost made it seem like there was a live band playing. Tons and tons of guests were raving over it and I must tell you that if your DJ company has a percussionist available, you should totally consider it! Due to the fact that we were trying to get a million things done before the wedding, we had totally forgotten to finalize certain things on the music list. So when we went to our final appointment with Elegancia, we had many blanks! (Like mother/son, cake cutting, bouquet toss, etc.) But to be honest, I didn't worry about it, cause I knew they would help us, and they did. Any music that we didn't have finalized at that appointment, Jose assured us that he would find something appropriate and he did. When we were there, I asked him about perimeter lighting that another bride had told me she added to her package. He showed it to us and I immediately knew that it was something that we just had to have! They basically take all these special lights and place them around the room, and they are connected to this computer. With the turn of a knob and flick of a switch, the DJ is able to completely change the color of the room. There are not enough words for me to express who a difference this made, and how I am 110% certain that my wedding would not have been the party it was, without it. I know it sounds weird, but lighting can do WONDERS for a room and it made such a party atmosphere for us, without being all "club-like". It was very, very elegant, and this was the #1 thing that all our guests kept complimenting us on. We were worried that since we were having a daytime wedding, that guests wouldn't feel like it was a true party. WRONG! The lighting, combined with the AWESOME music made our wedding the party of the year! (And it's only February!) He played everything!!! Salsa, meringue, reggae tone, old school hip-hop, Motown classics, 50's, party favorites, etc. I don't care who you were, there was SOMETHING for everybody. From the time we entered the reception, until the last song, the music was constant and the party was going on for hours and hours. So many of my family and friends who never dance at parties or weddings, were up on the dance floor enjoying themselves! I can't express enough how much I am so grateful for our DJ....Jose and his staff went beyond our wildest and highest expectations....and without them....our wedding would have been just a regular old party.

Elegancia was just what i had hoped for. I went around and asked people what they wanted to be played and they had most of the songs. Everybody had a good time. My friends said the music was great and one said if he were to ever get married, he already knew what DJ he wanted. Elegancia has top of the line service and is nothing short of amazing.
