Michael, head of Gray Studios, is a consummate professional. Not only are his photographs stunning, creative, and unique, he is also extremely personable and a joy to work with. Michael and his staff will calm even the most nerve-wrecked bride on the big day. He evoked smiles and laughter from my family and friends, all at the appointed times - quite a challenge! Gray Studios has a long and solid reputation; Michael shot the photos for my sister's wedding over 15 years ago, and he is the only one I trusted for my own wedding. His quality and service are unmatched.

After my fiancee and I saw our friend's wedding album, we were very impressed by the quality and design of the album. We had been shopping around for a photographer, and possibly a videographer, so we decided to stop by Gray Studios to see more of their work and to learn about their packages. We were immediately tended to by Michael, the owner of Gray Studios. He explained, in detail, the differences between each package, and he showed us a variety of sample albums and portraits, all of which were impressive. We were sold on the quality of their photos and their album designs. We found their packages to be competitive and very fairly priced, and so we decided to do business with them. My fiancee and I felt that Michael and his staff were genuinely interested in making sure that we understood what to expect with the package we selected, and in providing us with the personalized attention, service, and quality that we were looking for. As Michael told us about Gray Studios' history in the photography industry, we knew Michael and his staff were very experienced. They had state of the art equipment, and you could just tell that you were going to get your money's worth and more. A short couple of months later, we met with our photographer to take our engagement photo at Grays. It was nice to meet our photographer because we got a chance to get to know each other and to develop chemistry. On the day of our wedding, the Gray Studio team of photographers and videographers were perfectly punctual, and they knew exactly what to do. They were there to capture the pre-wedding preparation, the boarding of the limousine, our arrival at the church, the entire wedding, and the entire post-wedding reception and party. The team was extremely professional, very knowledgeable with their setup, equipment, and they knew exactly what pictures to take and when. The wedding was a success and we were very happy with the professionalism and experience that the Gray Studio staff delivered. After the wedding, and throughout our experience, Grays payment plan allowed us to keep pace with our payments without causing a burden on us. We received our wedding video and the production and quality of the video was amazing. We have also received our wedding album and my wife and I could not be any happier. There are not enough wonderful things to say about working with Gray Studios. From the moment we sat down with Michael, everything he was showing us seemed perfect. Everyone was constantly asking me if I was nervous about the wedding. My reply to all was being nervous about vendors showing up. When I exited the Limo, Steve, the greatest photographer ever, was standing by the entrance of our catering facility. He put my nerves at ease with the big smile he had. It was amazing how Steve was able to figure out the perfect spot to stand so the sunlight wouldn't ruin the pictures. He was such a pleasure to work with and he made the annoying picture process actually fun. The best part was that my now husband NEVER smiles in pictures. However, Steve was able to make him smile which made everyone else smile. Within a week and a half of our wedding, our proofs were available online. Within two and a half weeks, our hard copy proofs were available for pick up. It was such a pleasant surprise upon picking up the proofs that they were placed in a binder, which makes going through them so much easier Looking at the pictures, they are magnificent. Our parents, who are very hard to please and very critical, absolutely love the pictures as well. The love and joy of the day was definitely captured in the pictures and each time I look through the book I either have the biggest smile on my face, or cry happy tears because of all of the wonderful memories I now have. My husband and I have stated since our affair that we will NEVER use another photographer other then Gray Studios and of course Steve. Like I said, there are not enough words to describe what a pleasure it was to work with this company. It is clear that they genuinely love what they do and it absolutely shows in their work.

Gray Studios should be the first and last place you go when looking to book photographers for your wedding!! Working with Michael and his staff on our wedding day was an absolute pleasure!! They put everyone at ease and made the entire day stress-free and tons of fun! There are no words great enough to describe how beautiful our album is! The photographers at Gray Studios are all extremely talented, and they did an incredible job at capturing our special day from beginning to end!

Gray is a little pricy, but worth it! I would definitely recommend Steve to any of my friends. He was nonintrusive, and took beautiful creative pictures. Best of all we werenÂ’t taking pictures forever, we got to enjoy our friends and family at the wedding! We also used Gray for our video. We pick it up this week, so IÂ’m not sure how it came out yet. I would have preferred the video to be a little more candidÂ…but none the less IÂ’m sure it came out great.

This review was posted last year on an online wedding website- LIWEDDINGS.com. Just copying & pasting. I will also add that over a year later I am thankful for my choice with Gray Studios. My photographer was Prosper and gave me some of the most cherished moments of my life. Before the ceremony Prosper was shooting at my house and captured great photos of me with my family. He positioned me & my father in one photo and told me to kiss him on the cheek. While my father & I had thought it was a bit silly at the time, we saw the photo and loved it. Almost 1 year after my wedding, my father passed away. This photo was blown up, framed and displayed at my father's wake. My mother now keeps it in the living room where the photo was taken. We are still mourning his loss as it has only been 4 months since his passing, but cherish all the moments we had together. That photo that Prosper shot brings warmth to my heart and I literally thank God every single day that I had that moment captured on film. I am thankful that I chose Gray Studios because I know that if I didn't, I wouldn't have had such a meaningful photo now. I also must say that I have friends who were married over 2 years ago and still await their wedding albums. I had my album just a few months after the wedding. They were perfect on every level. Here is my LIW review: So we booked Gray because we liked their quality & style best out of 4 house vendors. I'm a graphic artist so I'm pretty critical on any photoshop work in a wedding album. We both agreed that Gray didn't use cheesy effects and were confident that they would make us a great digital album. We also really loved the owner Michael. He was easy to work with and even offered us real estate advice! Part of our package included a free Engagement Shoot and 8x10. All of our shots came out great so we knew that he'd work out perfectly for the wedding day. We also really liked Prosper & his mannerisms- very professional but loose & a bit wacky! I HATE taking pictures and I get very tense, but he really made me feel comfortable on the wedding day. We received our proofs which came out PERFECT, but have yet to order Thank You cards or the album. [Posted 9.12.07] *******UPDATE********* Gray Studios gets a major A+! Their turnover is rediculously fast. They had my TY photos within a week of ordering them & a short while later they sent me a postcard saying the album layout is ready! We chose Gray Studios because we really liked their style of photojournalism and digital layout. We don't like exaggerated use of photoshop effects and saw that alot of their digital albums were very tasteful. Being a graphic artist I was very picky with layout so I found a couple little thing's I'd change, but overall we are VERY pleased! [Posted 10.30.07] HIGHLY RECOMMEND GRAY! You will not be disappointed!

Both the photographer & his assistant were wonderful. They were professional, yet warm and made everyone feel very comfortable. Steve, our photographer, came up with some really unique & beautiful poses/pictures. You could see how much he loves what he does. The hardest part was choosing from the proofs which one's to put in our album, because there were so many lovely shots. I would absolutely recommend them. They were definitely worth the money!

Michael made our day!! From the moment we sat down to discuss the details, he made everything perfect. Aside from the love of your life, your photographs are the piece of your wedding day that lives on. Gray Studios is certainly money well-spent!! The album is a priceless reminder of the beautiful day that we had fifteen years ago, and the elegant portraits are stunning. We cannot thank them enough.

Made it seem like a movie.... in a good way

After going to a lot of photographers, Gray Studios won me over. They did not try to talk me into any bells and whistles which most photography studios tried to do. They were quick to answer any of my questions in person, on the phone and through e-mail. They have been in business for many years and provide a great service. They are flexible with their contracts and provided their proofs in binders which were so useful! My photographer, Steve was very kind to my family and friends and even jumped in when we needed help the morning of. My only advice is to be more specific with what kind of pictures you want. Although I did mention it, I wish I had been more vocal about the inclusion of photojournalist pictures. I definitely recommend Gray Studios.

I would highly recommend Michael Gray. He was professional and fun - an important quality in a photographer who will be spending your entire wedding day with you! Not only did we have fun shooting the photographs, but the outcome was beyond my wildest expectations. The photographs that Micheal took were beautiful and unique!!
