Gurney’s Inn you couldn’t ask for a more beautiful wedding location! The only private beach location on long island and it sure is stunning! If you are a beach person this is THE place to get married! Feet in the sand, waves crashing right behind you and the cool ocean breeze against your skin. You are literally 20 feet from the ocean it doesn’t get much better than that!! Then you go upstairs to the outdoor cocktail reception on the Sun Deck. Followed by a beautiful reception in the Discovery Room ballroom. And the best thing is the After Party Bonfire on the beach! Instead of your wedding being a mere 4 hours it turns into an entire event. And you can even make a weekend out of it staying Gurney’s and enjoying all the amenities! But seriously I could go on and on about how beautiful and truly special Gurney’s is. And best of all the people working the weddings are amazing! Ginny Davis is such a caring, loving, and hardworking wedding coordinator who wouldn’t want to plan their wedding with her! I worked with Ginny throughout my wedding planning process she was so helpful and quick to reply to any question I had. On the day of the wedding she was by my side making sure everything was taken care of. My wedding day was completely stress free and a big part of that has to with her. While Ginny was taking care of me the day of John Ovanessian another coordinator at Gurney’s who is also extremely helpful, attentive and great to work with was busy making sure everything behind the scenes was going smoothly. Zelko the Maitre’D was also a sweetheart! So I HIGHLY recommend Gurney’s Inn for the ultimate beach wedding on Long Island. It’s a destination wedding without all the hassle of airlines. The atmosphere and scenery is breathtaking and they treat you like family!
