It was an absolute pleasure to work with Gary Cress! He is extremely talented and gifted! He made our flowers more incredible than we could have ever imagined! Our dais was absolutely gorgeous and so many people called us to tell us how incredible our centerpieces, bouquets and altar arrangements were. There were numerous emails exchanged back and forth with Monet, who is a doll! It was a pleasure to work with her as well. We had an excellent experience to work with them! We highly recommend!!!!

Gary at James Cress went above and beyond to make our day perfect. He worked around our budget, gave us tips on how to save money additionally, and even helped us with the centerpieces, as we were doing them on our own and not through the florist. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and we were very very happy with the quality of all of the flowers for our wedding! Highly recommended- he made us feel like family every time we entered James Cress!

Words can not express that quality of service and presentation that James Cress Florist displayed. All of our consultations with Gary were prompt and professional. He spent the maximum amount of time with us and we never felt rushed. With only a few short words, he knew exactly what we wanted and helped our vision take flight. Gary is a true artist and all of his suggestions were spot on. When the wedding day came; our ceremony, boquets, and centerpieces were absolutley perfect. I can honestly say that when you work with the James Cress staff, the flowers will be one less thing you have to worry about on your wedding day!!!

Great quality, very professional! I was so pleased with my wedding flowers. Gary is so influential and a seasoned florist, his knowledge made my dreams come to life. Most other would agree he's one of the best on Long Island. Some rumors were floating around that they closed-untrue I drove by yesterday and the place was full of fresh plants and their doors were open. I have never been disappointed by them, my parents have used them for retail for almost 40 years.

Very professional and helpful! I loved my centerpieces and my bouquets everything was absolutely stunning. Gary was sensational in every step of the planning process, he made my wedding the most memorable day of my life. Reasonable, quality and professional!

James Cress was incredible. Our flowers were flawless! we came in with a budget and Gary made it work! we got everything we wanted and didn't have to skimp on anything to save money! The flower delivery person was so nice and helpful and it was a good way to start off the day!

I absolutely loved my flowers. I was hesitant about having brown bridesmaids dresses but Gary reassured me that the flowers and colors we chose would make it look more summery for an August wedding. My flowers couldn't be more beautiful than what they were. Ivory and peach roses...gorgeous. I loved working with Gary and Josephine and would highly recommmend them for any occasion!!

I could ask for nothing better. Gary, the VP and our florist was great! The flowers were perfect, reasonably priced and exactly what we wanted, no problems, delivered to the venue right on time.

They did a very beautiful job on all my flowers.. From the bouquets to the beautiful cadle lit centerpieces! Just unforgettbly beautiful ! A bit expensive but definitely get what you pay for.. Soo worth it!!!!

James Cress is a wonderful florist. Gary, the owner, is a very nice guy. Their flowers are SO beautiful and their work is exquisite. Everyone is raving about our beautiful centerpieces. they are the best!!!! Thanks - we loved OUR flowers-stunning centerpieces, chuppah and flowers for the groomsmen and flower girls and bridesmaids. If you want to spend the money for the best florist on the island, then go with James Cress. They have the best flowers and do the best work. What they did for me was perfection. Although expensive,they were worth every last cent.

I highly recomend James Cress, I sat down with a woman to discuss what I wanted and then a month or so before the wedding i met with Mr. Cress to see a sample centerpiece. I didn't like the original piece so together we came up with a better version which was absolutely beautiful. We took cala lillies and stood them up in a large champagne glass with a little grass hanging out and clear crystals in the base, it was perfect. The day of the wedding the girls bouquets and guys boutineers were absolutely wonderful and all the flowers were alive and healthy looking, nothing was browning or turning and it was a very hot day. They did a fantastic job setting up the room and the church, they even drove to queens to setup the church and then out to Holbrook Long island to do the room. They did a fantastic job!!!!

I had a small, casual, backyard wedding, and I went to James Cress because I knew the flowers would be fresh. They were beautiful, I chose white lillies, but the counter woman was pushing roses, which were double the price and not what I wanted.So, while the flowers were fresh and beautiful, the service left something to be desired.
