New York Minute

NY Minute played our wedding on August 20, 2011 and they were AMAZING!! We really searched far and wide for our wedding band. We really wanted to find a band that was not cheesy and sounded great. We received compliments all night and are still receiving compliments. Several people asked us for their contact info for their own upcoming weddings. I highly recommend NY Minute!!

This band was pushed on us by our wedding planner. They are from NYC and they have the attitude! They make you feel like they are doing you a favor! They are EXTREMELY EXSPENSIVE and not worth the money. Once we signed the contract we were told that we also needed to provide them with accomodations for the night since they were coming from NYC to Boston. Suprize!!! I had to struggle with them on every little detail including the event flow. They gave us a piano player and a sax player for the ceremony and they HORRABLE!!! They couldn't even get the notes right!!!! This would have not been a problem if we had hired a band that actutually knew how to play and accomodated their clients!!!! They did not deliver as promised to me over and over again! I'm the bride, they should follow everything I demand. They stressed me out till the last moment and I would NOT recommend this band to anyone!!! All they cared about was getting fed and getting paid!!! NOT WORTH THE TIME AND AGGREVATION OF DEALING WITH THEIR NYC ATTITUDE!!!!!!!!

These guys did an absolutely outstanding job. Go see them at Flanagans (not the best venue for a band this good) in manhattan and you will be convinced of their musical abilities. My wife asked them to play Elton John's "My Song" as our first dance, but the Moulon Rouge version. If I didn't look, I would have sworn that Ewan McGregor was in the room. They played artists that we liked, but also planned the night such that it was non-stop dancing. My only complaint was that they made it such a great party that it just flew by! The band makes the wedding, and these guys (and gals) will make yours.
