DO NOT WORK WITH THIS VENDOR!! I had a difficult time finding transportation for our families and wedding party. Most transportation companies get booked 8 mo to a year ahead. A lot of the companies I spoke with charged outrageous rates since our date falls into the prom/wedding season. I noticed this place called Wedding Plaza across the street from Queens Botanical Garden (our wedding venue). At first, it seem perfect and convenient...little did I realize the hidden charges and the horrible service we were going to receive on our wedding day. The owner Nancy works with her photographer, they're professional scam artists! They perform a skit to lure the bride & groom with corny jokes and their all in one wedding vendors. The couples end up booking extra services than they actually need since they "think" they're saving a bundle. In reality, they are about to receive a bunch of crap that has poor quality and service. They offer bridal make-up, gowns, photography, limo, etc. so that every couple would book all the services to get the "discount". I've seen their dresses and pictures and it was really terrifying. The make-up is terrible. The brides are caked with heavy powders and colorful eyeshadows. The pictures are so shiny from the touch-up and lighting that you can barely see the bride & groom's face. The video has all kinds of effects with cheesy music and graphics which is too much going on to notice the bride & groom. We kind of had our gut feeling about this vendor. Due to the cost and time factor, we went along reluctantly since we need transportation for our wedding. They did charge us a bit less than other companies but the service was not worth it. We booked a package that included two limos and a Rolls Royce. We only need the service to take us to and back from QBG. However, most limo companies are mandated by NY State laws to book the minimum of 3 hrs. So they cut us some slack and charged us for the 3 hrs. to get to QBG and an additional two hrs to transport our families and wedding party back home instead of a 8-9 hour pkg with other companies. So we have a total of 5 hrs with our cars. The week before our wedding, we were told we have the Rolls Royce for the first 3 hours. However, we would not be given the Rolls Royce to transport us home. They were going to arrange another car to pick us up. We figured any other car is fine. The important thing is for our families to get home. On the day of the wedding, I had the Rolls royce to transport myself and my sisters. My driver was very professional but the car inside was dirty and stained. There were no drinks or refreshments inside the car. My husband on the other hand had drinks and refreshments inside his limo. The worse part was this vendor got caught taking photographs of our wedding. Nancy and her photographer interfered with our photographers and camera crew after they politely told them they could not take certain shots since they were hovering around. I had to ask my MOH and sister to ask them to leave the premises. Not only were they rude but they insisted they were not there to take photographs of our wedding. The security guards had to inform them that it was a private wedding and the gates were going to be closed to the public after 7pm. And eventually they left. Towards the end of the night, we had been informed by the driver at the last minute, our contract included two limos to transport our families home. When I told him, we arranged and agreed that another car was going to pick us up. The driver told us he was only told to provide the ride home for the families not us. I was trying to stay calm and polite. I asked if we could have another alternative arrangement, any basic car to transport us home. The driver did not budge, he remained stern about his obligation to drive our families home. That was it. I lost it at that point, I had to yell, "Are you serious? We're the bride & groom that booked services with your company. And they are literally going to leave the bride and groom to get their own car to get home?" For my families sake, I let the driver go so he can get everyone back home. Myself and my husband were left in front of the garden. We had to take a car service home due to the BS that this vendor supposedly was going to provide us. Their contract is basically a flimsy paper which is more like a receipt that you fill in with the number of cars and hours that you need. If I had known, I would definitely put everything in black and white print. I never went back to complain about their service since the service was paid in full. I honestly don't ever want to have to deal with this vendor again!
