PARADISE Bridals & Tuxedos

Terrible at answering the phone. I felt like I would lose my mind if I had to listen to their holding "music" (them singing their own praises). I must have spent 5+ hours of my life listening to that.My dress was beautiful and it was well altered. Many of the staff were very polite/flexible. Others were a little rude.I ordered my dress in January before my December wedding and it barely came in on time. I was lied to about the dates of arrival (by 2+ weeks) for my dress as well as those of my bridesmaids. I was very disappointed by this. It was a major inconvenience to squeeze all my fittings into 2-ish weeks! My advice, LIE ABOUT YOUR WEDDING DATE!!!I complained about not liking being lied to and they lied to me saying they would take me 15 minutes early for my fitting which became almost 40 minutes late. They were not straight forward about the cost for alterations to my dress.I am not one to be reduced to tears but this business caused me tears. I was mortified to say the least but frustration cause the best of me. This was the only vendor that caused me any headaches in all my wedding planning experience. I expected much better service shopping local but my expectations were not meant.They did nt have alterations available on weekends and I had friends in my wedding party that work in the city, making getting their alterations done literally impossible!

I had a great experience with Paradise Bridals. Marge helped me find my beautiful dress and she was great. My alterations were great also. A little unorganized about calling me to let me know the dress was in, but Rose makes up for it with her great personality and attention to the bride, she got me in right away and made me a priority. Not stressful at all!

I met Danielle at a bridal showcase and she was so nice that I had to go to her place. The people there were so nice and the variety was amazing. Danielle picked out exactly what I wanted. She went on maternity leave and after that I dealt with a lot of different people but I didn't mind because they were all nice. I ordered my veil from there and it was discontinued so the quickly found me another one that went great with my dress. They were very accomodating.

My dress turned out absolutely perfect! The ladies were very helpful and patient.

My girls purchased their bridesmaid dresses from paradise. I tried very hard to be competitive for my girls and Paradise was the competitive price by beating everyone else. I also checked the ratings and felt good about ordering the dresses here. We ordered the dresses in first week of March along with the flower girl dresses. When I went in myself to bring my two flower girls, I was helped by very rude woman. I did not mention anything to her at the time because I understand that sometimes things happen and moods make individuals uneasy. When one of my girls went in herself to get measured she immediately called me and said she did not feel right about the measurement she took. Myself and 4 of my girls were just previously measured for our friends wedding right before mine from Macys so we pretty much knew what sizes we needed. My friend went back in and she was then measured another size (the one she knew she should have been.) After measurements taken we all waited until mid July to hear back from them and from there the nightmare started. Every single one of my girls (I had 8 bm & 2 flower girls) all measured incorrectly. My sister in law was measured a 26 and she fit her and my other sister in law in the dress with her. I was completely appalled by measurement and on top of that she needed to pay extra because it was plus size. I told the girls to not do the alterations there because it would have been through the roof with what they had to get tailored. Luckily! The colors were right and the timing they came in was good. Needless to say, I would not and will not recommend this place to anyone. That is why I am writing this review today.

I stopped in after a show i had been to.I was told if I ordeered a dress there I would get a free tuxedo.After i looked around i actually found a dress that i liked after some alterations that I thought were great MY actual dress came to life. the tuxedo was on the other hand none existant they said that i must have misunderstood but they would discount a tux for me at a good price...The price was not good i got the tuxedo at mens wearhouse...I wouldnt reccomend this store because...I got a good price but after all the alterations and 10 dollaars a point(which i think means button or bustle the price starts goin up up up...then there are the appointments that take wayyyyy toooo long and the ones they wont schedule or over schedule or re-schedule....thankfully all our gowns(me and 3 bridesmaids) all turned out fine BUT we ordered our gowns in FEb...they didnt come in till may..and i was gettin married in july...AND the dresses were sooo long and heavy...someone there should have said "well maybe you should rethink these gowns they r for winter weddings"HELLLOOOO I dont know these thing these r their jobs...Really shoyuld have shopped around but ...I got my dress and all ended well...happy hunting ladies!!!PS..Staff was very nice although completely overwelmed they need to hire more people,make sunday appts. and ANSWER THE DAMN PHONE!!!!

i would not recommend anyone here, the service was horrible. My bridesmaids were getting fittings the day before my wedding. When i went for my second fitting, nothing was done on my dress, they were terribly over booked. And after my 250$ in alterations, my dress was too long and 4 out of 6 of my bustle points popped as soon as they were buttoned. I was very disappointed with everything there.

I purchased my wedding dress from paradise bridal, I loved my dress! BUT, I wish their bridal fittings schedules were more accommodating. One Saturday a month is not enough for weekend bridal fittings.

I would NEVER recommend this place to a bride. While the initial consultation for myself and my bridesmaids seemed to be great, we all had nothing but headaches from the time that our dresses came in up until 8:00pm the night before my wedding!Out of myself and 6 bridesmaids only 2 of the dresses fit well, the rest were all INCHES to small. I ended up purchasing another gown from David's Bridal a exactly one month before my wedding. When trying to rectify the problems we got ignored and overcharged. The only time I ever received a phone call back after the numerous calls and visits I made there was two days before my wedding and at that point in the game it was to late.

I have not one bad thing to say about Paradise Bridals. I am so happy with my decision to purchase my wedding gown here. Barbara was so sweet and helped me find “the one”. Everyone agreed that it was the perfect dress for me. The whole staff was helpful and caring throughout the entire process. Even though I did not need major alterations done, the seamstress did a terrific job. There were never any problems and I never had any concerns. I also purchased my veil and headpiece here and they were absolutely stunning.

Although my dress came in damaged it was not their fault. But what was their responsibility was to call me back regarding a new gown, the messed up alterations and the ironing of a silk gown. My silk gown was ironed instead of dry steamed and as a result permanent iron marks were put into my gown. Their prices are amazing and its very tempting to buy from them, but I would rather pay more money any day than go through the run around and aggravation they put me through.

I was very pleased with the services of Paradise Bridal. We had a large wedding party (8 bridesmaids and 2 flower girls) plus the bridal gown, all from Paradise. They did a good job keeping track of all the dresses, and got everything done in time, with good quality. I would recommend them to anyone!! Thank you.

They had a hard time making and keeping fitting appointments with me. But MArge was able to get me my dress at a discount then other stores I went to so I was happy with it.The place itself could use a face-lift, it felt a little depressing trying on a gown for the most important day of my life when the floors were chipping away and the 80's decor.

The level of customer service when I was shopping for my dress was excellent, but it declined after I made the purchase. The price of my dress was fair, but the alteration process fell short. My dress was much too tight and did not fit well on my wedding day despite three alterations. The same was true for my daughter (maid-of-honor), who was insulted by the seamstress. Fittings took place in a tiny back room with harsh lighting. I was made to feel that once they had my money I was no longer a priority.

The lady that ended up helping me find "The Dress" was awesome. She even gave me a discount on my dress. They made you feel like you were the only person in the store until... it was dress fitting time. OMG! Ok so the seamstress was nice, English wasn't very good hard to understand her. I had a 1 and 2 o'clock appointment for my bridesmaid and maid of honor and my appointment was at 5 (that was all they had) well my two bridesmaid dresses were the wrong color and one dress was ordered to have extra length and did not come with extra length 2 weeks before my wedding! i was FREAKING OUT!!!! but in the end they pulled threw and fixed all the mistakes that were made. My dress was gorgeous a little more expensive then i was anticipating. When i was waiting for my appointment at 5 i noticed they just started to hem my dress.. my appointment before that was 2 weeks prior so i don't get why they would do it right before you get there even though i was there all day and watched them do it too i ended up waiting an extra hour and a half while they worked on my dress while i was there watching them do it (They get you with fitting and hemming charges!) Other then the mix-ups they were very good.

Everything went pretty good!!! I loved my dress and my girls dresses came out great!! they even pressed my sisters dress for free and she didnt even get her dress in this state!!! i was pretty impressed with that level of cust. service!

They were very easy going in the store, helped me find the pefect peice that looks great on me and had the piece when they said they would! My piece was a bit pricey but i got complimets all day for it and it was definetly worth it!!I would highly recommend working with them.

My dress was amazing! I had a great experience with Paradise Bridal. Because I came in on a very slow, rainy night, I had the entire salon to myself. I was treated like a princess the first time I came in. I ordered the dress on the spot. I really loved it and loved my sales associate. The next few times I came in, they weren't so nice. All of the other ladies besides my sales associate were a little snooty and seemed bothered by me, for some reason.Other than that, I was very happy with everything. Perhaps, I was extremely lucky to have Fanny as my sales associate because she was absolutely flawless! Their prices seemed quite fair and competitive. A!

Sales people could have been a little more attentive, courteous.
