Regal Bridal & Limousine

We only rented the limo from Regal. And it was a mess. My parents booked and paid for the limo, so I don't really know about how they were on a planning level. But they talked my mom into only renting one limo for the pickup which would make multiple trips to pick everyone up. (the guys on the 1st trip, then the bridesmaids, then my parents and myself). The limo driver didn't know how to get to the venue on the direct route (we live 5 mins. from the hall) and he took about 20 mins. longer then necessary on each of the first 2 trips, which meant he was late to pick me up. I was supposed to be walking down the aisle at 11:30 and I didn't arrive to the hall until 11:45. I will def. not be using them again and will not recommending them.

We used Regal for DJ (DJ BOB) and limo. Limo - Great, on time, professional.DJ - That's another story. We had the hardest time trying to find a DJ. We did not want a sweet 16 wedding and since music is a huge thing to me, I would have dj'd my wedding myself! We found DJ BOB when looking for a limo at regal. He is a fantastic person and after meeting with 9 other DJ's, we booked him. I told him I wanted to make the play lists and he should only play what I ask. he was totally fine with it and said he only uses MP3's and should have everything we request. The emails between Bob and I were often. I have so many! He was great at getting back to me and kept telling me he had everything I asked for. I felt like I hit the jackpot! He was too good to be true! Then the big day came. I had specifically said "NO NEW MUSIC, NOTHING ON THE RADIO, PLEASE PLAY EVERYTHING ON THIS LIST". he said "You got it". Ceremony was great, cocktail hour was great (so I heard, didn't make it in bc too busy with pics. I gave my BF the songs I requested for cocktail hour and she said they were played and everyone was loving it! I know my guests) Reception - starts off great. All entrances were fantastic, he played our montage we created, 1st dance, great! Havia Negila was a MUST play since my fiancee is Jewish and HE NEVER PLAYED IT! We would have said something but you are not thinking about it when you are at your reception. That is why you hire professionals bc you are too busy talking to everyone and you forget those details. he did play a good amount of songs I requested but not all and different songs by the artists I requested. He would play Abba, but Dancing Queen and the floor cleared out not Take a chance on me like I asked for. he played Michael Jackson Beat It and Don't Stop, but I asked for Rock with You and Shake Your Body and he didn't play those. I requested Etta James - At Last! Amazing song! But he didn't play that version. he played some duet with a man and woman I didn't know. I told him Freestyle is a must and gave him 6 songs to play. He played Freestyle but none of the 6 I asked for. Instead of using MP3's, like he said he only used, he was flipping through cd books all night!!!!! Then, to my horror, SMACK THAT BY AKON (NOT WEDDING APPROPRIATE AT ALL AND I WAS MORTIFIED), Usher "Yeah", and some other hip/hop artists start playing. THE DANCE FLOOR EMPTIED! No offense to anyone who likes this music, but I do not and made that VERY CLEAR. I am in my 30's and wanted 70's, 80's and 90's dance/new wave/freestyle. My guests are the same and the dance floor was not crowded throughout the night unless it was the songs that I had told him to play. as IF IT COULDN'T GET WORSE, HE PLAYED THE SAME SONG TWICE! Depeche Mode - Just Can't get Enough. Yes, I requested it, so that was great, but I only requested it once. I really like Bob and think he is a very nice man. The whole time leading up to the wedding, he was the vendor I had the most contact with bc the music was so important to me. I spent so much time getting the list together and worked so hard on it. He made me think he was just going to play everything I asked for so no problems. But he did not deliver and it was a problem. It did not go how we wanted and you can tell from the empty dance floor.

Regal Limousine's staff was very responsive and a great value. We got the car we requested and the driver was on time and professional. The car was clean and easy to get intoIt was a very hot day, and the A/C in the car did not cool the entire vehicle. With 12 people in a Ford Excursion 15 passenger limo you would expect to be able to feel the air.We purchased 3 hours, and of course with traffic and delays we were not able to get around the city and take the pictures we wanted. It would have been nice if the driver was flexible enough to ask us if we wanted to purchase more time, however he did not make that an option. He was very strict on time, and didn't seem very flexible. In the limo we requested a full bar, yet there were only 4 sodas and two water bottles! For a 15 passenger vehicle that was unacceptable!
