SAVE YOURSELVES THE HEADACHE AND DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING!!!!!!! They are SO unprofessional. I can't believe they are still in business!!! After showing up an hour late with a bus that did not live up to what it said on the wesbite (dirty, smelled, no tp, no music, no tv), the driver got into a car accident, went the complete wrong way, and barely spoke english. I doubt the driver even had his CDL based on the way he was driving.A business tip for you.. when YOU screw up.. YOU should make it right if you want repeat customers.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!There are SO MANY other companies out there! I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS. They take peoples money and run.Not only was our bus an hour late, the driver was RUDE, the bus smelled and was NOT what the pictures showed, it did not have TP for the bathroom and the cd player did not work. HOW IS THIS A PARTY BUS?! All this place did was stress us out! Do yourselves a favor and book elsewhere.

My husband and I booked Party Ride for our wedding - with a bridal party of 26 people. Our wedding just so happen to fall on the weekend of Hurricane Irene. It was their own decision to cancel on us the day before our wedding. The representative called me to cancel on Party Ride's request and I was told we'd receive a full refund - for over $1400. It has now been 2 months and we haven't received a refund. The customer service representative continues to run us around in circles with why they are delayed in the refund. We're at the point now where we're filing legal action. We also saw this company on the local news for the same thing - taking people's money for no service and not refunding...even bounced checks! I would NEVER EVER recommend this company to anyone - BE CAREFUL!!!!! I may have gotten married on one of the worst unexpected weather weekend's of the season...but having them drag on with our refund is way worse...especially since we're 2 month newlyweds and still dealing with them!!!!

i had a very difficult time answering the first question:Which service did this company provide you with...'transportation' ha... absolutely horrible!!!!!!!! never showed up for our wedding-after reading these reviews i have come to learn that their 'line' is that their 'bus broke down', or the battery 'died'they dont return phone calls and had an ENTIRE wedding party on HOLD when they should have been picking us up.left a wedding party of 30 STRANDED!!!!!!!!!absolute disgrace.please pass the word around to NEVER get invloved with this company!!!

Worst experience of my life, the bus describtions are not correct. our bus didn't have a TV, DVD player, or Ipod hook up as it said it would. The toilet leaked in to the seating area less then 2 hours into the trip, the bus broke down and then once it started back up after a half hour the AC stopped working. Then on the way back the driver was mad we didn't give a full tip on the way down so he refused to stop for food. 8 hours straight we drove with no break. Awful.

I am just happy this site will actually let you write a zero for a score of this company, because that is exactly what you will get form them. ZERO customer service, zero service in general since for my function they just never showed up, zero calls to let me know that the bus had broke down, zero apologies for the inconvenience, zero refund of my money (John the owner or his lap dog Mark will not return any of my calls for my deposit refund), and finally zero ethics. Stay as far away from this company as possible.

My husband and I rented the Vip King Philip Party Bus and we had a great experience for our wedding. It was a bit pricy, but not far from the other vendors. Maybe within $100.00 or so. This Party Bus was not the typical Party Bus with all the laser lights, fog machines and strobe lights....It was just a very clean bus with comfortable couch leather seating and nice wooden tables. We had a wonderful driver, I believe his name was Oneil ( Thank You Sir!!!! ) and a wonderful host serving drinks and little snacks. I can't believe what I am reading now .... well regardless that just shows that you cannot believe everything that you read on the internet.... We had several sales people helping us ....all on the same page and thank the lord that you guys delivered, because I would have had to answer to many people!!! I suggest that everyone does their homework. Just stay in touch with the same sales rep all the time, ask questions and have a great wedding like we did......A Very Happy Bride :)

Please if you are reading this do not rent with this company! They are an absollute scam, they did the same thing that many of the people on this site are describing. Party ride cancelled on us 2 hours before my daughters prom, never even called me, I heard this news from the bus company that was contacted through party ride! My daughters prom group ended up going to the prom on a regular "charter" bus instead of a party bus. We paid $3,250 for this bus and have not seen a refund, they are horrible to deal with and I plan on suing them for everything I can. THIS COMPANY SUCKS AND I RECOMMEND NO ONE DO BUSINESS WITH THEM FOR ANYTHING!!

I booked The Party Ride for a prom event on Monday, June 13. They were supposed to be there at 7 PM, and got there 15 minutes early so we could sign everything we needed to and figure out the logistics. The bus was very nice (it was a 40 passenger, queen maria I believe). The TV worked, the speakers worked (and were amazing), the AC worked, and the bus was clean. There were 2 people on board (one driver and one "helper"), and both did a great job at being professional and ensuring our comfort. After the prom event, we had a 2 hour drive to the Hamptons. The 2 guys helped us load our luggage onto the bus, kept us entertained with music, and got us there well on time. The Party Ride, for whatever reason, has terrible reviews everywhere you look. However, I found them to be a great company. I spoke with Stephen on the phone and he was great. The people on the bus were helpful. The price was okay, but the customer service made it feel worth it. They always helped me in any way they could. Highly recommend this company!

We were promised the newest vehicle in there fleet.Driver arrived in a bus that had a broken front door. He actually stopped on the highway and asked us to help him tie it closed with a rope. Very unsafe vehicle and also had fumes coming in from the exhaust system. No GPS so we had to direct the driver the entire 1.5 hour trip. On our return, the driver got lost and went over a bridge that was not capable of carrying the weight and the state police had to back us off the bridge. This took over an hour and when we arrived home an hour late, we were charged the extra hour. When we reached out to the company to complain, we were completely ignored. DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT USING THIS COMPANY...YOU WILL NOT BE HAPPY!

We got a Party bus (Princess Tina) for our wedding in May 2011. I was very happy with Party Ride. We were so worried because Party Ride is in Brentwood, LI and we are in Central New Jersey...but they were on time, very professional, the bus was so nice and comfortable. I highly recommend them. Their prices are great. We were so glad we got the Party Bus. We had a blast!

I booked a bus for a bachelorette party (happening 9/10/11). First of all, I was appalled at the price, $1800 for 6 hours. That's freaking $300 an hour! But the salesman made me feel pressured into having to reserve the bus at that second. Then I found this website and all the horrible reviews of the company. I do not want my best friends bachelorette turning into a night from hell, especially for this amount of money, the risk is far too great. 4 days after making the reservation I called to cancel only to find out there's no way they will give back the $300 deposit. What did you people do for me that warrants you deserving $300 for 4 days? The woman then said she would cancel the bus and hung up on me. Not a word about getting a cancellation confirmation or anything. My sheet says cancellation must be in writing or else full amount will be charged. I sent an email to find out about some sort of confirmation and to let someone know about their horribly rude customer service rep, and still no response.

I reserved and paid in full for a 30 passenger limo bus from The Party Ride for my wedding on May 14th, 2011 at the cost of $1100. The bus was supposed to take us from St John’s the Baptist Church in Philadelphia, PA to the Philadelphia Museum of Art for pictures, then from the museum to our wedding reception at Talamore Country Club in Ambler, PA. We had the bus reserved from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. Immediately after my wedding ceremony, I left the church to find the bus broken down with a dead battery and my entire wedding party standing outside of the church in the rain. I never even was able to get on the bus. The driver told me that he had left the radio on and the battery died. I immediately called The Party Ride only to be put on hold for 15 mins then told I would receive a call back. I asked about getting a replacement vehicle and was told it wasn’t likely because they are located in NY and we were in PA they had to check with the dispatch. In the meantime, the driver asked one of the groomsmen to pull up to the bus to assist with a jump using the groomsmen’s vehicle. Since the truck was so large the engine on my friend’s car started to smoke and the jump wasn’t successful. I called The Party Ride again only to be put on hold for another 30 mins or so. This whole time the wedding party and my wife (the bride) sat in the rain waiting. I finally found out that there would be no resolution from The Party Ride, so we contacted another vendor. We were on a very limited time schedule and since their vehicle did not work we were unable to go our planned location for pictures. Instead we had to sit around and wait and also find alternate transportation for 25 people. This is a day that I can never get back. We had set plans with our photographer for pictures at a certain place and they will never get done. We also had to pay the photographer for this time of just sitting around. I had to pay another company, Ali Baba to come and pick us up. When we left the bus was still sitting in front of the church unable to move. My wife called the next day 5/15 only to be met with rude opposition from Mark at Party Ride. They said that the person who would process the refund wasn’t there and there was nothing they could do. Mark at Party Ride eventually hung up on my wife. When we returned from our honeymoon, I called The Party Ride on 5/24. I was told that the “accountant” wasn’t there and to try back the next day. Apparently that accountant is Mark, the same person my wife spoke to last time who said he isn’t the guy to help. I then proceeded to contact my lawyer and the bank to dispute the charges. Later that day I called back The Party Ride and reached Stacey the General Manager, who told me she was the person to process complaints and I needed to talk to her not Mark the accountant. She asked me to send an e-mail detailing the events and she would get right back to me. I sent the detailed e-mail on 5/24.On 5/26/11 after getting no response I called back and asked for Stacey. When she got on the phone she didn’t remember me at all and said she would have to call me back, she was at somebody else’s desk. I realized that this was just another brush off, so I asked her if she received my e-mail. She again asked to call me back, I told her I would hold. She said ok, I will be right back with you. I waited on hold, while at work no less for 60 mins!!! She never came back to me and I finally hung up. I have since tried her back several times, but whenever I give my name they say she is not there or put me on hold for 20-30 mins at a time only to come back every 5 mins and ask who am I holding for and my name. Eventually I just get put to the dispatch voicemail. I called using another name and when Stacey got on the line and found out it was me she hung up.My Lawyer called and reached Stacey on 5/27 only to be told by her that Mark is the person to talk to, can you see a pattern here. She spoke to Mark to find out who their representation is in PA, so we can file suit. He didn’t know and said he would get back to her. Surprisingly after 2 weeks I finally got a call back from Mark later that day. I missed it and immediately called back, only to be put on hold for 30 mins. Finally I spoke to him and he knew what was going on and said that he is not the one who can give refunds he needs to talk to the owners. Even though I was told on multiple occasions that it is him. He also said this was the first he was hearing about the situation. How quickly he must have forgotten the 30 min conversation with my wife the day after the wedding where he hung up on her. He told me that they would be off Monday for the holiday, he is off on Tuesdays, so he would get back to me with their decision on Wednesday 6/1. I didn’t hear from him on Wednesday so I called him and he told me he didn’t get a chance to talk to the owners, he would get back to me that day. I didn’t hear from him that day or the next, so I called him the morning of Friday 6/3. He said that he was off on Thursday and didn’t get a chance to talk to the owners. Mark called me back on Monday 6/6/11 to inform me that the owner is not going to refund our money. I asked him how they can keep this money without providing a service. He said it shouldn’t be that way, but it’s not his decision and the company is having financial problems. Really??? Mark said that he told the owner that the limo had to be towed and he still didn’t care. I don’t know how this company is still in business. STAY FAR AWAY!!!!!

This company canceled the bus my daughter booked without notice 2 days before the event and will not return the $2,200.00 deposit she gave them. Once they had our money they were rude and very unprofessional The whole business is a scam. They're very quick to take your money, but will give u only aggrivation in return.

This company is a complete scam. Just recently, my school had our Senior Prom. The operations manager from the Party Ride called me an hour and a half before our pickup time, said the bus broke down, and that he would call other companies in our area to see if they could pick us up. All the companies were booked and the Party Ride "claimed" they had no other buses to accomodate us. My dad had to book 2 last minute limos with his friend and thankfully we got to prom and Wildwood. But this company told us they would refund the full $1700 we paid and not a cent has been returned. WORST COMPANY EVER, ABSOLUTE CON ARTISTS. RUDE, INCONSIDERANT, PENNY PINCHING. IT DISGUISTS ME.

After reading the some of the horrible reviews online I was very nervous about having hired this company for my son's bar mitzvah. I am very pleased to be able to come back and now and write a glowing review. They were on time, professional and courteous. My son and his friends loved the buses. They were transportated safely through a MAJOR rain/windstorm. Everyone I spoke to on the phone was respectful and courteous-thank you Dee Dee, Natasha and Kerri!

THE PARTY RIDE IS THE WORST....THE NEVER SHOWED UP, CLAIMED THE BUS BROKE DOWN ON THE NJ TURNPIKE AN HOUR AN A HALF BEFORE THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO ARRIVE. ANOTHER BUS WAS NEVER SENT OUT AND IT WAS NOT UNTIL I CALLED THAT I FOUND OUT THIS INFORMATION. THEY TRIED TO SEND ME A BUS AND DRIVER THAT WAS JUST COMING OFF A JOB AT 1OPM, OUR PICK UP TIME WAS 9PM. HOWEVER THE BUS WAS AT LEAST 1 1/2 HOURS AWAYS. WE WERE TO HAVE THE BUS FOR 7HRS. WELL IT NEVER HAPPENED. THE HOUNDED ME DOWN TO CONFIRM MY RESERVATION BUT NEVER SHOWED UP, THEY SAID THEY WOULD REFUND MY DESPOSIT BUT GOT AN EMAIL SAYING IT WOULD TAKE 5-6 WEEKS FOR THE REFUND. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY...THEY ARE NICE ON THE PHONE AND EMAIL, BUT THEY SCREW YOU IN THE END. I AM PRETTY FLEXIBLE BUT THIS IS RIDICULOUS. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. WE WERE TO HAVE A 25 PASSENGER BUS "PRINCESS LEETAL" WE HAD PEOPLE WAITING, FOOD, BEVERAGE NOT TO MENTION ALL THE OTHER MONEY SPENT FOR THE EVENING AND THE SCHEDULE AND AGENDA WE HAD MAPPED. OUT. this is a HORRIBLE company!!!!!!!!! i cant say more! if you do choose this company I CANNOT SAY MORE THAN TO HAVE A PLAN B!!!!!! i had a bus party for 40 guest - and like everyone else - to make it worse - we received a bus that carries 36 passenger!!!!!!!!! so we did not get the chance to pick up my friends in the city! we called to get a refund by phone but no one picked up, than the tell us to leave a massage, but their voice mail are full, than i finally got someone to talk to and they said we had to email them ---- which NO ONE mentioned after 1 week of me trying to contact some!!!! USE SOMEONE ELSE EVEN IF ITS PRICEY- you dont want this headache on your special day or after your party!!! i wish i listened to all the comments about this company - thought that all the comments were from other companies ... but all are TRUE because it is what im going through now...
